Rate Setup is used to manage room rates efficiently and support hotel pricing strategies
- Accessing Rate Setup:
- Log in to the system.
- Navigate to Rate Management > Rate Setup on the left menu.
- The page displays a list of existing rate setups.
- Table Column Explanation:
- Status: Shows whether the rate is active or inactive.
- Rate Code: Code used to identify the rate type.
- Name: Name of the rate.
- Description: Additional details or conditions for the rate.
- Start Date: Date the rate becomes active.
- End Date: Date the rate expires.
- Post Code: Code related to room revenue for the rate.
- Post Code Extra Bed: Code related to additional revenue like extra beds.
- Adding a New Rate Setup:
- Click the “+” button to open the data entry form.
- Fill in the required information.
- Click “Save” to save the new rate setup.
- Adding Details to a Rate Setup:
- Select the Rate Code of the rate setup you want to update.
- Add the necessary details or modify the rate’s status (active or inactive).
- Click “Save” to save the changes.
- Editing an Existing Rate Setup:
- Click the edit icon next to the rate setup you wish to modify.
- Make the necessary changes, including the rate’s status.
- Click “Save” to save the updated information.
